“A woman can say more in a sigh than a man can say in a sermon.” -Arnold Haultain There are a great many meaningless men in the community, and what that means is that, while they have the intelligence to understand an idea and the heart to feel it, yet the idea never gets so close to them as to have its reality tremendously experienced by them. We do not win our strength and stability by mastering ideas, but by being mastered by them—held in their grip. A man never really knows what there is in him, how much he can do, or how much he can withstand, till he gets fairly in under just such governance. I am convinced that there is nowhere nearly the amount of difference between people in point of personal caliber that is ordinarily supposed. It is not so much a difference in personal capacities and energies as it is a difference in the degree in which those energies become packed upon one another and reduced to solidity. Even on a cold day one can pick up a sunbeam and burn a hole through white oak with it if the lens with which the beam is focused is in good order. It is second only to the power of Pentecost to come so close to a truth or to a situation as to have that situation actually touch us and burn its way down into the sensitive nerve of our being. The trouble with people, nine out of ten of them, is that they stand on insulators and watch the play of the lightning through drawn shutters, and never stand out and let the electric storm play in their own bosoms. It is by an inward experience of the storm that men can be held fast in the midst of the storm. Nerve varies inversely as the square of the distance that there is between us and the reality we are handling.

“The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses – behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.” -Muhammad Ali In a sport where livelihood and fitness are so closely linked, it’s no wonder that fighters are in such great shape. Their conditioning is just as important as their talent and skill.

For a fighter, how well-prepared he is usually determines how well he performs. A supremely conditioned fighter can overwhelm a less-conditioned athlete with a constant and unrelenting barrage.

If they’re not in exquisite shape, fighters run the risk of not only losing, but also having their years of hard work and dedication wasted and missing their chance to let their talent and skill show and shine. Thus, fighters take training pretty seriously. Training is where the mind, the heart, AND the body are pushed and tested.

Online chat may refer to any kind of communication over the Internet that offers a real-time direct transmission of text-based messages from sender to receiver, hence the delay for visual access to the sent message shall not hamper the flow of communications in any of the directions. Online chat may address point-to-point communications as well as multicast communications from one sender to many receivers and voice and video chat or may be a feature of a Web conferencing service.

Instant messaging (IM) is a form of communication over the Internet, that offers an instantaneous transmission of text-based messages from sender to receiver. In push mode between two or more people using personal computers or other devices, along with shared clients, instant messaging basically offers real-time direct written language based online chat. The user's text is conveyed over a network such as the Internet. It may address point-to-point communications as well as multicast communications from one sender to many receivers. More advanced instant messaging allows enhanced modes of communication, such as live voice or video calling, video chat and inclusion of hyperlinks to media. With increased online exposure for kids, mothers play a vital part in protecting them on the web.

With assignments being shared online, research being carried out through online encyclopaedias and children being wired almost as much as adults, there's a great amount of threat for young children when it comes to protecting them from cyber threats. A responsible cyber mother is the need of the hour, ensuring you know you kids are safe.

As women, we must train like men to see results. That is, if you are intent on burning fat OR getting toned. If you are a woman who is interested in running or a woman who has no interest in building muscle gains, then you’ve probably stopped reading this by now. I encourage you to read on because you are either a woman trying to lose fat, a woman trying to gain muscle and lose fat or a woman trying to simply tone up. This article applies to all!

Working With Senior Women

've worked with senior women's ministry groups on and off over the years and since I get so many questions about this topic, I thought I'd share a few things I've learned.

• They Are Still Women.

Whether they've aged on the outside and regardless of whether their health is failing, these seniors are still women and like to be treated as such. They still want to be part of the group. They still like to hold conversations and be interacted with. They still like to be complimented. They still like to be treated with respect. They still like to feel special.

• They Are Filled With Wisdom

Gain from these ladies wisdom. Some of our aged saints have so much to offer and I think we sometimes overlook that. Some of them have such keen insight. They also have valuable life lessons and skills that they are more than willing to share if we'd just take the time to ask them.

• They Have a Need to be Used.

Even if it is not to the degree they once were involved, these senior ladies still like to pitch in and do what they are able. Great areas for them to be involved is as welcome greeters, hospitality, baby rockers for the nursery, making phone calls, food committees, and as prayer warriors. There are many other areas as well. Some of these ladies will work their hearts out if they just had an area to be involved. Frankly, I know some senior women that work physically harder and put more effort into their ministry tasks than a lot of younger women do.

Kids Section & Unleash

Kiddos lies
Kids lie early, often, and for all sorts of reasons—to avoid punishment, to bond with friends, to gain a sense of control. But now there’s a singular theory for one way this habit develops: They are just copying their parents.

In the last few years, a handful of intrepid scholars have decided it’s time to try to understand why kids lie. It starts very young. Indeed, bright kids—those who do better on other academic indicators—are able to start lying at 2 or 3. “Lying is related to intelligence,”

Although we think of truthfulness as a young child’s paramount virtue, it turns out that lying is the more advanced skill. A child who is going to lie must recognize the truth, intellectually conceive of an alternate reality, and be able to convincingly sell that new reality to someone else. Therefore, lying demands both advanced cognitive development and social skills that honesty simply doesn’t require.

Netflix has announced an update to the Xbox Live Netflix app that adds a "Just for Kids" option. The new section is specifically unleashed for children 12 and under, and is already available on Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3.
